About us
PGZ – Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Primorska is the crossroads of economic activities in the Coastal-Carsic region in Slovenia. Our members come from 8 municipalities of an economically very active region.
The key activities are logistics, tourism, and the metal processing industry. In addition to actively supporting the interests of our members, we also provide quality networking, educational and other events. We actively involve our members in European projects, too, which we acquire as members in international partnerships.
We encourage innovation, internationalization, and cooperation, as well as knowledge transfer.
Mission
We are the creators of changes in management conditions in the Coastal-carsic region. We provide business contacts with representatives of foreign countries in Slovenia and B2B meetings.
We bring new knowledge and competencies to members in the form of trainings and seminars. We also established the internal sales channel called PGZ Club. We are qualified to advise entrepreneurs on starting a business, we provide mentorship in process of developing a business idea, internationalizing a business and in many other areas.
Our mission is to represent the interests of entrepreneurs and companies as much as possible, thus raising the general welfare of the population. To this end, we encourage the transfer of knowledge between members and on a wider scale. Our aim is to combine the interests, views and requirements of local and national authorities with interest and development requirements of regional economy.
Services
- Public documents: obtaining a certificate of membership; ATA carnet; certificate of origin.
- Internationalization: consulting in the field of expanding business activities to foreign markets (in strategic markets with its own network of business agents).
- Networking for foreign investors with regional key players
- SPOT consulting: registration of a simple .ltd company., information and education for young and new entrepreneurs.
- Trainings: workshops and seminars from various fields of business;
- Visits by diplomatic representatives.
- Premises for rent: room for business meetings and gatherings;
- Mini congress center (up to 80 people) with the possibility of catering.

How do I join?
We are a private organization that provides services to members. Many services are included in the membership fee itself, but some services are chargeable. All services for non-members or affiliate members are chargeable.
Anyone engaged in economic activity in any status form can become a member of PGZ. To become a member (or affiliate member) to fill in the application form, which you bring to us in person or send by e-mail to info@pgz-slo.si. You become a member on the first day of the following month.
Affiliate members of the Chamber are individual organizational units of companies operating in the Coastal-Carsic region. Upon payment of the membership fee, support members receive many benefits, but do not have the right to vote in the operation of the bodies of the Chamber.
The amount of the membership fee is determined or confirmed by the PGZ assembly every year.
